On June 13, 2026, Global French Education welcomed 39 participants to an open French class at 1 Bartley Bull Pkwy, Brampton, ON L6W 3T7. The session was intended for beginners and learners exploring practical French.
Stations, hotels and restaurant tables
This travel session brought together requests for information at a station, hotel check-in and ordering at a restaurant. The teacher focused on frequently useful phrases before extending vocabulary. Each setting gave learners a specific task, helping them distinguish language worth practising repeatedly from words they might need only occasionally.

Putting the language into practice
Simulated exchanges allowed participants to bring those phrases into conversation. Preparing for a trip involves both speaking and recognizing a reply: a departure time, a booking confirmation or a question about an order. The session connected these needs through practical scenarios that could be revisited before departure.
A practice idea to take further
Prepare three short exchanges, one for each setting. Include a request and a clarification phrase such as Plus lentement, s’il vous plaît. Review the numbers you might hear in a time, room number or price.
A short exercise is most useful when you return to it. Revisit the exchange on another day, change one detail and notice what you can say without checking your notes. Use any remaining hesitation to choose a question for your next lesson.
