On January 17, 2026, Global French Education welcomed 18 participants to an open French class at 1 Bartley Bull Pkwy, Brampton, ON L6W 3T7. The session was intended for beginners and learners exploring practical French.

Giving a simple idea a complete sentence

Plans and preferences provided the starting point for this New Year communication class. Learners practised saying what they wanted to learn, what they liked doing and how to share a simple idea. Pronunciation and sentence building were combined so that the work stayed connected to a message someone might actually want to express.

Putting the language into practice

The group of 18 gave the session a focused setting for guided speaking. A personal plan can be a useful beginner topic because the content is already known to the speaker. The learning task is to select a manageable part of that idea and find a clear way to express it in French.

A practice idea to take further

Complete Cette année, je voudrais… with one realistic plan. Keep it to a short sentence, then add J’aime… to explain a related interest. Practise the two thoughts without turning them into a long speech.

A short exercise is most useful when you return to it. Revisit the exchange on another day, change one detail and notice what you can say without checking your notes. Use any remaining hesitation to choose a question for your next lesson.
