Five class hours a day: from zero to B1 in 12 weeks. For people who have a block of free time.
Who it is for
- You have taken time off to study, have a break between terms, or are waiting for a decision on your application.
- You learn quickly and can handle 5 class hours a day.
- You need B1 level within three months (note: B1 is not the same as CLB 7).
Who it is not for
- If you work: the pace is too demanding, and a missed day can’t be made up.
- If your goal is CLB 7 (NCLC 7): 12 weeks gets you to B1, and you would need to continue to reach B2.
Weekly schedule
| Stage | Weeks | Content | Hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1–4 | A1 intensive (Monday to Friday, 5 hours a day) | 100 |
| 2 | 5–8 | A2 intensive | 100 |
| 3 | 9–12 | B1 intensive | 100 |
Good to know
In 12 weeks you reach B1, not B2. An intensive program that promises B2 either doesn’t offer enough hours or is aimed at students who aren’t starting from zero.
