You start from zero and, about fourteen months later, you submit your application with a TEF result.
Who it is for
- You don’t speak French yet, but you have chosen the French stream to earn immigration points.
- You have one to two years and can commit 6 hours a week to class, plus 6–8 hours of self-study.
- You want to learn French and get your exam result in one go, rather than in two separate steps.
Who it is not for
- If you need a result in under three months, look at the TEF sprint, which requires an existing B1 level.
- If you can’t find even 4 hours a week, start with A1.1 to get into a rhythm before thinking about the full path.
- If you only want to speak and don’t plan to take an exam, look at French for adults, for pleasure.

FAQ
What if I fall behind along the way? Each stage ends with an assessment. If you don’t pass, you can retake that stage once for free.
Why about fourteen months? Going from zero to B2 takes about 500 hours of effective study. Our complete path is 330 class hours plus self-study, which comes to about 14 months. Programs that squeeze the hours usually cut the practice.
Can you guarantee CLB 7 (NCLC 7)? No, and nobody can. What we guarantee is enough hours, mock exams marked to the real standard, and an honest view of your level before results are released. If you haven’t reached B2 by the third mock exam, we will advise you to postpone registering.
What if I leave part-way? The hours you attended are recalculated at single-course prices, and the bundle discount is not refunded. The full refund rules are on the Prices page and in the terms.
