2026 French-language draws: 12 rounds through October 27

The complete 12-round table: 60,500 invitations, cut-offs from 382 to 435, and the limits of a historical comparison.

The French-language Express Entry rounds held through October 27, 2026 produced 60,500 invitations across 12 rounds. The cut-offs ranged from 382 to 435, showing both substantial selection activity and meaningful variation between rounds.

A period-specific review: these are results through October 27, not a completed annual total. Invitations are not permanent resident admissions.

A low point is not a lasting threshold

The August low of 382 was followed by 435 in October, then 407. Reading only the lowest number would conceal the 53-point difference between the period’s lowest and highest cut-offs.

The invitation count also needs context. A larger round can reach further down a ranking, but elapsed time and the mix of eligible profiles can change the result. The table does not isolate those effects or reveal the complete French-language pool.

Comparing categories requires care

Different rounds select different populations. A Canadian Experience Class cut-off and a French-category cut-off do not describe identical eligibility conditions. Their difference is not a fixed “French discount” that an applicant can subtract from a personal target score.

The November 3 scoring changes also mean that earlier CRS results should be interpreted under the framework that produced them. A historical score range cannot be assumed to carry forward unchanged.

A useful way to follow the next round

Record the date, category, invitations, cut-off and tie-breaking timestamp together. Compare several rounds rather than one headline. For your own preparation, maintain valid results in every required skill and verify program eligibility independently. That produces a stronger plan than treating the lowest historical cut-off as a promise.
